Exam Blog Post

Communication Technology is growing by the second. For example, if the amount of people that use Facebook were a country, it would be the third largest country in the world. That is spectacular; an online communication website is that popular. It is extremely rare to be walking down a street and not see a person with their cell phone out. Even cell phones have evolved into "smart phones", with internet and e-mail use. Communication Technology is growing by each second and does not seem to be stopping any time soon.

So where is Communication Technology headed? At this rate, it could be headed anywhere! Technology has evolved into so much, it has become unpredictable. I personally think that it will keep evolving, and becoming more "eco-friendly" because that is an issue that has become very popular. The amount of paper being used will soon decline due to e-books and internet which will help the enivornment. Also, iPads are becoming a huge part of society. Hospitals have actually been using them because of their extensive applications. I think that anything could happen in the future and that Communication Technology will grow until it cannot possibly grow any more.

When I finish post-secondary education, I assume that I will still be communicating a lot through Facebook, Twitter, blogs and cell phones. I am sure that different social networking websites will pop up, and even more efficent smart phones will be released. I also believe that they will be environmentally friendly, they could possibly be recyclable. I do not think there will be any drastic change in five years, but the changes will most definitely be growing. The evolution of Communications Technology is indeed a timely but evident process.
